Winter's back...

These are cold days, though not usual for our winters. Since I last wrote, we've had plenty of snowfall, and now very crisp temperatures. Here are some pictures taken yesterday, when it was -18 Celcius, but sunny and pretty.

Many of you will not need an explanation as to which "view" these are. Left to right, anyway: the driveway facing South, the Beaver Mountain from our back door (facing East), and the moon coming up over the mountains in the east (seems north-east from our back door).

We boarded some great dogs in the past couple of weeks (I KNOW I always say that, but it's the truth, and it's why I do what I do!) Below are Toby and Tucker, two yellow labradors who occasionally visit here "on their own". This time, they had an "authorized" farm vacation while their owners went to a warmer clime.

As usual, click on the thumbnail picture to get the bigger one. And WHY do I have 3 pictures of Toby and just one of Tucker? It's about the way I take pictures, man... I can take a dozen pet portraits and get ONE which works.

Here are more beautiful Labradors, who were here just for the weekend. Below are Ranger and Annie:

Oh goodness... I'm almost late for my lunch date. Talk to you later! ~ Ann
