It’s not too bad to wake up to THIS every day: sunrise in our part of the Robson Valley.

Things are pretty fine around here… nothing much changes, but every day is a gift nevertheless. I’m suffering from a cold at the moment, but in good spirits.

Occasionally we board cats, and most get quite a lot of freedom in the house:
This is Allie, who is quiet and affectionate, and we can treat her “as our own” when she stays.

I had the pleasure of grooming two little Havanese dogs yesterday. They were just adopted a week ago by friends… this is Rob with his “boys” Tucker and Jack. In this photo, the pups are barely visible because they’re jet black, but they’re a darling pair:

Even though I’m having a low energy day, I have to push myself to take care of some nursery stock (sinking some pots into the vegetable garden to save perennials, trees and shrubs for next season). I keep waiting for great weather, and we’ve had some, but I end up being busy at dog grooming or fall cleaning in the house instead of doing what needs to be done outside.

Love, Ann
