Hello again
Lady recognizes “her” chair even with the new fabric on it. She was lying there looking almost noble, all composed, but once the camera came out, she did not have that same relaxed demeanor! We have since put the coverlet back on her chair.
Life goes on as usual. This week went by quickly, and the number of canine guests jumped from two in mid-week to eight. We have safe, warm spaces for everyone: some indoor kennels in my “grooming shop” and places for dog beds in our house. All the dogs are familiar boarders and seem happy to be here. Even so, I always acknowledge that it’s difficult for humans to leave their family members behind.
Tugger is still here… you met him a few days ago. I’m posting his pictures so that the friend of his owner who will be adopting him, can see his handsome face:

Must go back to painting dog houses. I have nothing but that and the care of the dogs on my agenda this weekend.
