Sorry for my lack of diligence!
Anyone who actually READS my weblog would be justified in being disappointed, I suppose. Sorry I haven’t got back to it for so long! It’s a COMPLIMENT when anyone complains that I haven’t added to it for ages.
Gary has been away with his digital camera… remember how I abused mine and it’s not working? That’s excuse #1. Also, I have been “under the weather” with a cold. While not ACTUALLY feeling very ill, I seem to be moving at half speed, and almost completely run out of energy by midday.
This week I had our dog “Lady” spayed. I felt sorry and sad to put her through that, and to have her stay overnight at the vet’s. But she’s home and recovering, and although she has eaten a couple of her stitches, she’s acting like her ol’ self again and the incision will continue to heal.
Last night Gary came home from 10 days away; his last stop was the Farriers’ Convention in Vancouver. A couple he met there lives at Peace River, so “our place” is almost half-way home for them. The pair came for dinner and stayed the night, and this morning they treated us to breakfast in McBride. Last night we had Pork Tenderloin laced with garlic, Wild Rice Pilaf, garden carrots, home made buns, washed down with a bottle of Yellow Tail Chardonnay. For dessert we had home made apple pie with vanilla ice cream. I was trying to impress, I admit.
It’s nice to make new friends and visit like that, and I’m sure we will be in touch via email and/or by phone.
I’m struggling to think whether there’s anything else to report. Every day is different, and not always can I write about things in a public diary. I wish you all well, and I thank you for visiting.
Love, Ann

Hullo Ann,
I couldn’t sleep, so here I am at the computer at 5.30 a.m., browsing the web. Hope you and Gary are both well.
Cheers from Craig.
